Every Woman Has Her Colour

Around 2009
My hair was just about to my waist.

"What colour are you going to have next?"
I often get this question of my hair.

My natural hair is dark brown, but I've been trying various colours since around 2 years ago.

I keep my hair short lately, but it was down to my waist about 6 years ago.
The shorter my hair get, the higher my spirit becomes.
In my case, of course.

The truth, a bob cut is my longing. A dark colour bob.
I've tried several times, but it doesn't suit me well.
Quite unfortunately.

Well, what I should do next, I wonder?

A new challenge

YES, let's make a steady progress!!

Hello , it's Ginger.

I can feel spring is coming and I feel like starting something new these days.
So I bought a basic text book of arithmetic and mathematics.
Those subjects were my least favourite ones at school.
I could get a moderate marks at exams after I studied very hard, but I forgot all the formulae and how to solve he questions after the exams because I wasn't interested in math at all.
So arithmetic and math have been my complex since then.
Every time I see figures, my brain stops its functions.

I can live my life avoiding math and other complicated calculations, but I'm fed up with continuing saying "I'm bad at math" forever.
Leaving my worst subject hard for me may be easy, but that doesn't do me good.
I think that learning arithmetics and math is learning how to have different ways of thinking.
I believe that's exactly what I need to lean as an artist, a tutor, and a Pilats instructor.
I can't keep neglecting what I should better do.

So I've been working on the text books since the day I bought them.

Que sera sera!

Que sera sera...

Hello, it's Ginger.

In the twinkling of an eye, the calender says it's February.
The end of winter is coming (in Japan, traditionally it's 3rd of Feb).

I had my hair cut and I asked to colour it ash, but it turned out blond.
I don't know what happened.
It was the first time my reliable hair dresser and I had miscommunication.
I was thinking I might feel awkward at work....
Oh let it be. Can't help it now.
If I can't change it, I'll enjoy it.

photo exhibition

Bowie!!

Today was my day-off after a long while.
I went out with my brother.

We went to BIGSTEP in Shinsaibashi, Osaka to see Masayoshi Sukita's photo exhibition "SOUND & VISION + Qui-Ray".
Mr. Sukita is worldly well- known for his portrait works of David Bowie, YMO(Yellow Magic Orchestra), and Iggy Pop and other artists.
I was really looking forward to seeing this exhibition coming over to Osaka.

I'd never seen any of his works except portraits of artists before, so his black and white photographs of scenery and still-life left a fresh impression on me.
I was super excitd in Bowie's booth, but I was so glad I could see Sukita's works from his early ones till recent ones.

My brother and I had Vietnamese for lunch and he kindly kept company at my little business to be done.
We could spend relaxed time talking about theatre art, stage direction, and one man's power of expression, perception, and gengerocity.
I went to teach Pilates with lymph massage class in the evening, but it was a very beneficial day-off to me.

I've been a little busy this month but it's almost over.
I've been feeling like that my body is not catching up with the speed of time and works of mine recently.
The reason why I was not well for last few weeks must be it...so I understand myself.
Calmly sitting down and having some tea and talking with someone you feel comfortable with is very important to us all.
Like today, going to my favorite artist'S show is great.

New Year's "FROGS"

The frogs advance only forward.

And the piglets wear pastel colour knickers.
