Arrogance and snobbishness are the two of the things I hope to stay away from me as much as possible.
I don't want to let those things make me feel daunted or useless.
Insolent politeness and rudeness won't make people elegant.
I fight with those ugliness. silently.

I've started reading the Millennium trilogy by the late Stieg Larsson (1954–2004).
I'm half way though it's first series The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (original title is Män som hatar kvinnor in Swedish, literally, Men who hate women).
I saw this novel in many people's hands when I was in UK 7 years ago. Somehow it didn't attract me at all. Maybe it's because the fact that almost everyone was reading the book made me lost interest already (I know it's one of the sad natures I have).
But my brother read the book when David Fincher's film came out in early of this year in Japan.
He is one of those types who prefer reading the original novel before wathcing its film. He really enjoyed the books and lent it to me. So, there I am, totally enjoying reading them right now.

In the book, as most of you already know, there is a character Lisbeth Salander.
She has lots of problems in her life and has to fight with many things such as misunderstanding, despise and power. But she has a very strong mind and she is very active.
While I was reading the book, many times I thought "I wish I was that strong".
