翌日はミレックさんのワークショップの恒例行事となっている、チェコのマリオネットの歴史を観に行きました。

さてさて、どんな骸骨さんができたかというと…。

一時は完成できずに帰国することになるかもと危ぶんだのですが、最後に巻き返して完成まで持って行くことができました。
最後まで彫りを指導し、手伝ってくださった先生方や、私の我儘なこだわりに付き合ってくださったミレックさんのおかげです。

それにしても一番こだわったのは後ろ姿、というひねくれよう。
お顔はもう少し違う感じで仕上げるイメージだったのですが、これもイイかな。
8人とも全く違うマリオネットになったのも、やはり面白いです。
最終日の後、もう少し皆で交流する時間があったらよかったのですが…。

数名の仲間たちと、ビールを飲んでからそれぞれの家路につきました。
母国に帰る人、旅を続ける人、プラハに残る人…。
新しい出会いのあった2週間。
懐かしい友人たちにも会えて本当に嬉しかったです。
また会う日まで、元気でね。

Well then, let's have a look at what I've made....

I even thought about I wouldn't be able to finish it before I went home, but I played a great catch-up and it was done in time.
It's because of all the assistant teachers who helped me carving until the last minute they left and Mirek who patiently supported my stubborn preferences until I became happy with the result.

All in all, I put a great effort on its back. How perverse is that...
Though I had slightly different image about its face, but I'm happy with it for this time.
Eight students made skeletons and they all turned out to be different.
On the last day of the workshop, I wished we had more time to share our works and other things.

I went back to my hostel after catching pivo (beer) with few friends.
Some went back to their home countries, some kept on travelling, and some stayed in Prague...
During the two weeks, I met many people.
I was really happy that I also could meet up with my friends who I hadn't been seen for years.
