Another Exhibition!

アートとスパイスの魔法をお届けする、The Three Flying Witches（空飛ぶ三人の魔女）による、『スパイス魔女の台所』展は、恵文社一乗寺店COTTAGEさんにて９月２２日/２３日に開催と迫っておりますが、実はこの二日間だけの展示に来れないという方にも、嬉しいお知らせです。

奈良県葛城市にある、築５０年という古民家の古道具店兼ギャラリー＆カフェ『恵古箱（エコバコ）』さんにて、１０月６日～２４日の３週間。日曜日と月曜日を除いて１５日間の展示をさせて頂くこととなりました。

Ekobaco

オーナーの恵さんは、この恵古箱を始める前は、たった一人で古道具の移動販売をしておられたというパワーあふれる女性。
Acoと私をあたたかく迎えて下さり、Acoの持参したvanamのスパイス料理でランチミーティングをしました。

恵古箱さんに置いてあるものは、すべて物語があり、初めて来た場所なのにずうっと昔から休暇を過ごしてきたお家のような不思議な安心感に包まれてしまいます。
床も、柱も、壁の色も、『知っている』と思ってしまう。

恵さんが今魅力を感じているのは、麻だそうで、恵古箱で提供しているランチも、麻を使ったメニューがずらり。
今回の展示会で販売するセミ・オーダーの魔女エプロンにも麻柄を取り込めないかというお話を頂きました。
いい素材が見つかれば、是非実現したい企画です。

展示期間中は、私のリンパマッサージ＆ピラティスのクラスや、Vanamのスパイスランチ＆カフェ、AyamiとAcoによるアーユルヴェーダ・スペシャルコースランチ、魔女エプロンのセミ・オーダー、スパイス・ワークショップなど盛りだくさんのイベント内容です。

京都の展示会とはまた違った雰囲気と内容になりますので、是非皆様のお越しをおまちしております。

The Three Flying Witches is an unit to spread magic of art and spice around the world.
Our exhibition Spice Witches' Kitchen on 22nd and 23rd of September at Keibunsha Ichijyoji COTTAGE will be coming soon.
Those who can't come to this one, we are pleasantly announcing a good news.

We are having another one at Ekobaco, an antique shop/gallery and cafe in Nara.
It will be on for 15 days from 6th Tuesday to 24th Saturday of October (excludes Sun & Mon).

Megumi, the owner of Ekobaco, had been selling antiques on wagon as a mobile catering before she started Ekobaco. I was amazed by her vitality.
She warmly welcomed both Aco and I. We had a meeting over lunch which Aco brought from her Indian/Suri Lankan restaurant vanam.

Everything at Ekobaco has its own story and we felt like we've been knowing this place for a long time like a childhood vacation memory, even though we came here for the first time. It's a sort of deja vu.
A wooden floor, every pillar, and a color of the walls, I knew them.

Megumi has been into Hemp recently. So her Ekobaco Lunch and cafe menu has a list of food and desserts of hemp.
She asked me if I can make Witch Apron with Hemp pattern for the exhibition.
It's an exciting offer. I just have to find a suitable material.

During the exhibition, we'll have variety of events.
My lymph massage & Pilates lessons, Vanam spice kitchen (lunch & cafe), Ayurveda Special course lunch by Ayami and Aco, easy order of Witch Apron, spice workshops and etc.

It'll have a different atmosphere and events from the one in Kyoto.
We'll looking forward to seeing you.
