この春に、私は南方の魔女に出会った。

そのすぐ後に、東の海の魔女に出会った。

そして、まるでもうずっと長い間お互いを知っていたかのように仲良くなった。

私が初めて思い描いた将来の夢を、覚えている限りでは、なりたいものはずうっと同じ。
私は魔女か、海賊か、タイガーリリーになりたかった。
すでに書いたけれど、夢は今も変わらない。
特に魔女に関しては。

別に魔法をかけるとか、ほうきで飛ぶとか、そういうことをしたいわけではない。
魔女になるということは、賢い女性になるということ。

魔女は薬草やスパイスに関する深い知識を持っていた。
魔女がその名で呼ばれる以前は産婆であり、医療も満足になかった時代の職業がら、自然と森羅万象に精通するようになった。
それなので、世界の大多数の人々が神を信じていた頃に、魔女が異端扱いを受けたのもうなづける。

2人の魔女に出会ってから、何かが動き始めた。
私たちは魔術の腕を磨いて、あたたかく、ピリッと一味違うものを創っている途中。
もうすぐ皆さんに報告できる日を心待ちにしています。

Witch from the south

Witch from East Sea

This spring, I met a witch from the south.
Soon after that, I met a witch from East Sea.
We hit it off right away just like we've been know each other for a long time.

My dream job has never changed since I remember thinking about my future dream.
I wanted to be a witch, or a Pilate, or Tiger Lily.
As I wrote before, I still do.
Especially becoming a witch.

It's not about casting a spell or flying on a bloom.
I think becoming a witch means becoming a wise woman.

A witch had profound knowledge of medical herbs and spice.
A witch used to be a midwife before she was called witch. And during the time when medical treatment was not developed enough, she naturally became familiar with all nature.
So it's understandable she was treated as a heretic when majority of the people were believing in God.

Since the day I met the two witches, something has started.
We are brushing up our craft skills and cooking something warm and spicy.
I'm looking forward to tell you all about it very soon.
