ハロウィンの準備はできていますか？
この時期になると、そわそわしてしまいます。

週末からハロウィンイベントが続いています。
英語の授業でもパーティーを企画したり、なかなか楽しいです。
ハロウィン当日までに、あと２回ほど仮装をする予定なのですが、またご報告します。

I can't help getting excitd around this time of the year.

Since this weeked, I've started to attend and have Halloween events.
I hold Hallween parties at my English classes. I'm having fun.
Before October 31st, I'm planning two more dressing ups.
So, I'll write about them later!

rainy day is a baking day

また台風がやってきて、昨日から雨降りが続いています。

今日は久しぶりに午後に仕事がなかったので、お菓子をたくさん焼きました。
メープルシロップのクッキー、ドライフルーツのサンドウィッチクッキーバー、長野県で買った八幡屋磯五郎のしょうが糖を使った生姜クッキー、かぼちゃとメープルシロップのクッキーの４種類。
ハロウィンを目前に、お友達や生徒さんたちに配るために、かぼちゃとおばけ、コウモリの型で抜いて、生徒さんたちにあげる分はアイシングで飾りました。

ゆっくりと時間が流れ、とても心地よく過ごせました。

Typhoon is coming back again. It's been raining since yesterday.

Today I had no job in the afternoon after a long time, so I baked a lot.
Maple syrup cookies, cookie bars with dried fruits fillings, ginger cookies of crushed ginger-sugar of Hachiman-ya Isogoro in Nagano, and pumpkin and maple syrup cookies.
Halloween is near at hand, so I used the molds of pumpkin, ghost, and bat to give the cookies to my frineds and my students. I decorated the cookies for my students with icing.

Time passed very slowly and I was happy and calm all the way through.

先日、私がピラティスのトレーナーとしてお仕事をさせていただいているスタジオの研修で、長野県白馬村へ行ってきました。

 

長野県はなぜかいつも『ただいま』と言いたくなる土地です。

大きな自然の中で、あたたかい人々に出会い、夢のような旅行でした。

 

自分を好きになれたら、人にもきっとやさしくできる。

そしてそれは自然環境への感謝にもつながっていくと私は思います。

自然の恵みを貪るのではなくて、必要な分だけありがたく大切に頂き、そして返す。

そんなことを当たり前にできる人に、なっていきたいです。

そして一人一人がそれをできたら、もっと世界はもっと美しいものとなるのでしょう。

 

この旅行に関わってくれたすべての人々に感謝。



 

A studio where I've been working as a Pilates trainer held a study trip tour to Hakuba in Nagano.

 

Nagano is a place I always feel like saying I'm home.

I met many sweet hearted people in a great nature. The whole trip seemed like a beautiful dream.

 

If you can love yourself, you can be kind to others.

Consequently, it is same as thanking the nature.

We shouldn't devour blessing of nature, but accept the necessity minimum gratefully. And we reciprocate it.

I want to be a person who can do such things naturally.

If every one of us can do that, the world will be much more wonderful.

 

I thank to all the people who were involved in this trip.

 

 

 

 

autumn sky

皆様こんにちは。Gingerです。

暑かったり寒かったり、少し不安定な気候が続きますが、少しずつ秋ですね。
秋祭りをする地域が多いこの頃です。
キリッと鉢巻をして、法被を着たお兄さんたちが練り歩き、山車が踊り、笛の音や太鼓の響く秋の空は、どこまでも澄んで見えます。

今年の終わりも近づいていますが、この頃は仕事や人の動きが多いです。
新しい仕事に伴って、新しく出会う人たちが増えたり、友人たちの異動や引っ越しなど、物や人が一所に留まっていないとはわかっていながらも、その流れをより強く感じます。

私はアラビア語教材の挿絵のお仕事が終わり、少し自分の時間ができたと思いきや、勉強会やら研修やら何かと予定が埋まりがちです。

とりあえず、今は秋を楽しみたくて、目の前のことを一つ一つ楽しんで日々を過ごしています。
…と思っていたらもう１０月も半ばで、ちょぴり焦ったりして。

looking forward to Halloween.

Hello everyone, it's Ginger.

The weather has been so unstable that it's been hot and cool, but it's becoming autumn slowly but surely.
There are many local autumn festivals around this season of the year.
Young men looking smart in headband and happi (a livery coat with the crest of the area printed on it's back) walk in procession. The floats dance. The sound of flutes and drums echoing in the sky of autumn. The sky looks so clear as if I could see through heaven.

This year is almost ending, and recenlty I feel movements of jobs and people.
Since I started to work at a new place, I met new people. My friends' job transfers and movings. Even though I know that nothing stays in one place forever, but I feel that so strongly these days.

I'd finished the illustration works for Arabic textbooks, so I thought I had more time in my hand, but trainings and study meetings were filled in there so I still have full of schedule.

For the present, I just want to enjoy autumn, so I've been making the most of each day.
.... thus I was thinking, but it's already middle of October! OH LA LA!!

先月、無事にお誕生日を迎えることができました。

友人や、日本に帰ってきてからできた友人たちにも祝っていただき、海外にいる友人たちからも贈り物やカードが届いたり、メールやメッセージをいただいたり、ありがたいなぁと思っていましたが、今年は新しくお仕事を始めたスタジオでサプライズのお祝いをしていただき、大感激しました。

これまでよりもたくさんの人に感謝した誕生日でした。

Last month, I had my birthday without mishap .

My friends and my new friends in Japan gave me celebrations, and so many friends who live overseas sent me presents and cards, birthday wishes and messages. I was thanking all for their kindness.
Moreover, my bosses and co-workers at a studio where I newly started to work gave me a surprise celebration and I was deeply moved by that.

This year I thanked many people more than ever.
