こんにちは、Gingerです。
台風にも負けず、私が日本で通っていた大学のプチ・同窓会に行ってきました。
台風を理由で欠席した人はゼロ！ 残念ながらどうしても外せない用事で欠席した友人が１名。
この出席率の高さには、驚きました。
福井、東京、愛知、滋賀、京都、大阪、和歌山からはるばると、そうそうたるメンバーが集りました。
パワー溢れる美女たちは、仕事に、家事に、子育てにと日々奮闘中。
彼女たちのやさしい視線や心遣い、テキパキとした立ち居振る舞いに、私は幸せな気分に満たされました。
みんなに会うのは、約４、５年～１０年ぶり。ちっとも変わらない笑顔に、元気をもらいました。
彼女たちは、どこにいても、どんな状況でも、きっと今と変わらずに強く、清く、美しいのだと、私は思います。
やっぱり女性は強い‼
素敵な刺激をありがとう! 私ももっと頑張るぞ‼

今回の台風の被害はとても大きく、改めて友人たちに会えたこと、みんなが無事なことに感謝しました。
台風の２日間、北海道の牧場生活でお世話になった吉田家の皆さんから、自家栽培のお野菜が箱いっぱいに届き、長野の友人から巨峰の箱まで届き、美味しい自然の恵みと、あたたかい優しさに感激しました。
生きているって、素晴らしいことです。
みなさん、ありがとう。

Hello, it's Ginger.
In defiance of a typhoon, I went to a mini reunion of my Japanese university.
No one was absent by the reason of a typhoon! Unfortunately, there was one girl who had some engagement she couldn't cancel.
I was surprised at our high percentage of attendance.
Far away from Fukui, Tokyo, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka, and Wakayama, the prominent women came together.
Those beautiful women who are full of energy are working very hard at work and at home with housekeeping and child rearing.
Their tender eyes, consideration, brisk manners filled me up with happy feeling.
I haven't seen most of them for at least 4 or 5 years. Some of them are nearly 10 years. They haven't changed a bit and their smiles gave me a lot of energy.
I believe that they will stay strong, graceful, and beautiful no matter where they are and whatever the situations they have.
After all, women are strong!!
Thank you for inspiring me! I'll do my best even more, too!!
* P.S. *
The typhoon made a massive damage on Japan this time. So I thanked deeply again for I could meet my friends and they are all safe now.
For two days during the typhoon, I received a package filled with home-grown vegetables from Yoshida family in Hokkaido where I used to work as a milk maid. Also My friend in Nagano sent me a box of Kyoho grapes. I'm deeply touched by delicious blessings of nature and sweet and warm hearts of my friends.
It's wonderful to be alive.
