また 雨でしたね。
でも春の雨は、好きです。
先日、たまたま午前中がお休みになりました。
行きたかった東學さんの小さな展覧会へ足を運びました。
東學さんは墨画と呼ばれる彼独自の技法を使います。筆と墨で、水墨画に見られるような滲みを使う代わりに、蜘蛛の糸の如く細い墨の線を重ねて行くことで、繊細な濃淡を描き出します。
私は東洋の女神さまたちの主題のものが気に入りました。特に余白が多く取られているものが良かったです。
目を見張るほど混み入った描写のものもありましたが、私はシンプルな中に細々と描いているものが好きでした。

展覧会を楽しんだ後は、行きたかったお店を見てまわりました。
お友達になった店員さんのいるアクセサリー店に立ち寄りました。
フクさんは、私の好みを知っていて、私は彼女とお話しするといつでもリラックスできます。
私たちの話題は大抵、アクセサリーのこと、髪型のこと、仕事のこと、最近観た映画や読んだ本のこと、それからアート。
私は彼女の仕事熱心なところや、お客さんの満足を最優先にする心のあたたかさを、尊敬しています。
彼女はお店の2年目をお祝いするパーティーに招待してくれました。
今から楽しみです。

フクさんに会いに行くちょっと前に、アニエス・ベーの特別店舗を見つけました。期間限定のショップで、新作のPUNK+というコレクションを紹介していました。
ディスプレイが素敵で、キュートでいてエレガントなパンクスタイルに身を包んだマネキンたちが一目で気に入りました。
軽く見て回ってからその場を離れました。フクさんと楽しく話した後にそこへ戻ると、店員さんが『あ、おかえりなさい！髪型でわかりましたよ。』と話しかけてくれました。
ちょっと、恥ずかしいですが、誰かにほめてもらうのって嬉しいです。
午後、隠れ家のカフェのカウチに座りこみ、珈琲をすすりながらカポーティの小説を読んでいるとき、突如として純粋な悦びが自分の身体の中から湧き上がって来るのを感じました。
あと数時間後には仕事に行かなくてはいけなかったけれど、とてもたのしみにしていたし。仕事は私を嫌な気分にはしなかった。
美しいものをみて、素晴らしい人々に触れる。それがしあわせだったのです。
ときには、お休みを、半日のお休みでもいいのでとることは素敵であり、必要不可欠なことだと思います。
帰り道、春の宵の満月を見上げて、私の心はよろこびと期待で満ちて膨らんでいました。心地よく疲れ、一杯の葡萄酒のことを考えていました。
創造をかきたてる風が、還ってきた。
私はもっと、速く走らなくてはならない。
家に着くと、暗闇の中、甘く白い花が薫っていました。

So it's been raining again.
But I like spring rain.
I happen to have morning off the other day.
I went to a mini exhibition of Azuma Gaku Which I wanted to go.
He uses a style called Bokuga (ink paint) which
is his original painting method. With brush and sumi ink, the painter makes a delicate gradation by building up spider-web-thin lines, instead of blurring the ink, as in the Suibokuga (water and ink paint) style.
I liked oriental goddess motif. Especially the ones he uses lots of void spaces.
There were amazingly intricate works, but I liked the simple, yet detailed ones.
After Ienjoyed the exhibition, I went to look around the shops I wanted to go.
I called at my favorite accessory shop to see a shop girl I became friends with.
Fuku-san is a cute girl who knows my taste and I always feel very comfortable talking with her.
We usually talk about accessories, hair style, jobs, movies, books we saw or read recently, and art.
I respect her for her diligence, and warm heart to prioritize her customers' satisfaction.
She gave me an invitation for a mini party to celebrate the shop's 2nd anniversary.
I'm looking forward to going it from now.
Just before I went to see Fuku-san, I found a special shop of
agnès b.
The shop was specially set up during limited time. It was introducing the brand's new collection PUNK+.
I fell in love with the displays and manequines dressed up in cute yet elegant punk style.
I looked around briefly and left. After I had a nice chat with Fuku-san, I went back to the shop.
Then a shop girl said "Ah, welcome back! I recognize your hairstyle."
It was sort of embarrassing, but also nice to get some appreciation.
In the afternoon, when I was sitting on a couch of a hidden cafe, sipping coffee and reading Capote's novel, suddenly I felt sheer joy inside of me.
I needed to go to work few hours later, but I was looking forward to it. The work didn't bother me at all.
I was so happy to see beautiful things and to meet brilliant people.
It's nice and essential to have a day off or even a half day off every now and then.
On my way home, looking up a full moon of early spring, my heart was swelling with expectation and joy. I was pleasantly tired and I was thinking about a glass of red wine.
Creative air is coming back to me. I need to run faster.
When I came home, there were white flowers in the dark, smelling sweet.
