７月です。大阪は暑いです。
プラハで過した６月は、ほとんどワークショップで屋内にいたこともあり、過しやすかったです。
苺やネクターやスイカといった果物をたくさん食べました。
プラハはどこで珈琲を飲んでも美味しかったです。


今回はワークショップが目的だったのと、私のいつもの癖が出て観光らしい観光はしませんでした。会いたかった友人たちと会ったり、４年前に訪れた時に気に行ったお店にもう一度行ってみたり、こちらでできた新しい友人たちとぷらぷら出かけたりしていましたら、１か月なんてもうあっというまでした。


まるで田舎が一つ増えたような、不思議な気持ちです。

 

 

It's July. Osaka is hot.
June I spent in Prague was pleasant although I was at the indoor workshop most of the time.
I used to eat lots of fruits such as strawberries, nectars, and watermelons.
In Prague, coffee was excellent in any place.


I didn't do much sight-seeing as my plan this time was the workshops. I met up with my friends I wanted to see, I revisited the places I liked 4 years ago, and I wondered about in town with my new friends here, so a month has gone just like that.


I have this strange feeling that I have another home now.

プラハへ行ってきます。


木彫りの操り人形を作るワークショップに参加します。

プラハで4年に1度開催される舞台芸術の祭典、Prague Quadrennial 2011 にてパフォーマンスもしてきます。
4年前はイギリスの大学生の代表チームとして参加しましたが、今回も何らかの形で参加出来て嬉しいです。

幸運にも友人を通してプラハで人形作家として活躍しておられる佐久間奏多さんを紹介してもらえたので、佐久間さんスタイルの人形作りも個人的に教わってきます。
こちらもとても楽しみです。


出発時間は刻一刻と迫り、私はどうしても何かを忘れているような気になっています。
旅や移動は慣れているはずなのに、出発前はいつも不安です。

I'm off to Prague.

I'm attending the marionette carving workshop.
Also I'm going to perform at the Prague Quadrennial 2011(a festival of theatrical arts held in Prague every 4 years).
I joined PQ07 as one of the UK university students, and I'm happy to join PQ11 again.

Luckily, I was introduced to Sota Sakuma who is a marionette artist/maker in Prague through my friend.
I'm going to learn his style of marionette in person.
I'm very looking forward to this one, too.


Clock is ticking slowly but surely towards my flight time, and I'm feeling like I'm forgetting something.
I must be used to travels and moving, but I always feel restless before departure.

梅雨の季節は長袖のシャツが手放せません。

雨の日は寒さをしのげるし、お天気の日は日よけになります。

私は父が着古した、かなり大きめのシャツをもらって、愛用しています。

胸元と袖裏に刺繍を入れてみました。

もう少し刺繍を増やす予定です。

During the rainy season, I can’t put the long sleeve shirt away.

It keeps you warm on a cold rainy day and becomes a UV protector on a sunny day.

My dad’s worn-out (too) big shirt became my favorite.

I did some embroideries on its chest and cuff.

I'm planning some more embroideries on this.

Back in...

12週間の牧場生活が終わりました。
私はやっと咲き始めた十勝の桜と、牧場の牛たちを恋しく思いながら、蒸し暑い大阪に戻ったばかりです。
様々な出会いと、太陽と月と十勝の大地に感謝。
とてもいいタイミングで、ベストな牧場に行けたと思っています。


幸福な日々よ、私にも何か与えることができればいいのに。
与えられるばかりではなく。

My 12 weeks farm stay is finished.
I came back to hot and humid Osaka as I was feeling hard to leave cherry blossoms which just started to bloom in Tokachi and cows at the farm.

I'm thanking for people I met there, the sun and the moon and the earth of Tokachi.

I think I could go to the best farm in the greatest timing.


Oh, happy days, I wish I could give something back to you.
Not always just been given.
